Polyphony Digital is lining up another batch of free cars for Gran Turismo 7, and this time the Viewers Gift campaign tied to Round 3 of the Gran Turismo World Series will put a Ford GT Race Car ‘18 and the SF23 Super Formula / Toyota ‘23 into players’ garages, both finished in the black Stealth Model livery. GTPlanet reports the giveaway is expected to arrive alongside the game’s next update.
This is the third Viewers Gift promotion of the current World Series season. The formula has been consistent: tune in to the broadcast, or follow the in-game prompts around the event, and the featured cars land in your garage at no cost. The Stealth Model treatment is the usual hook, a matte black finish that replaces the standard liveries and marks the cars out as event-specific variants rather than the versions already available from Brand Central.
For sim racers the appeal is straightforward. The Ford GT Race Car ‘18 is a Gr.3-class GT machine that fits neatly into the most-populated Sport Mode lobbies, and the SF23 is the current Super Formula car, one of the fastest open-wheelers in the game. Getting either for free saves credits that would otherwise go toward a purchase, and the SF23 in particular is a car many players never bother to buy because of its price and narrow use case.
The honest caveat is that these are cosmetic variants, not new content. Both cars are already in GT7, so anyone who owns them gains a paint job and nothing more. The real value is for newer players still building out their garage, or anyone who wants a competitive Gr.3 option without the grind. The full contents of the update itself have not been detailed yet, so treat this as the confirmed part and wait for Polyphony’s own announcement for the rest.
