RaceRoom has pulled the covers off the last two cars in its DTM 2026 Car Pack: the updated Ford Mustang GT3 Evo and the Porsche 911 GT3 R. That completes the roster for the pack, which Sector3 has slated for release in August.

Details beyond that are thin at this stage. The reveal is essentially a confirmation that the car list is closed rather than a full technical rundown, and there’s no word yet on a specific release date within the month, pricing, or how the pack will be bundled for existing DTM content owners. What we do know is that both cars represent the current-generation GT3 machinery that has become the backbone of the modern DTM grid — the Mustang in its Evo form, and Porsche’s 992-based 911 GT3 R.

Why it matters: RaceRoom’s DTM licence has been one of the few things keeping the sim relevant in a market where it’s increasingly squeezed by newer titles with bigger marketing budgets. The physics and force feedback have always been a genuine strength — plenty of drivers still rate RaceRoom’s tyre model and sound design above sims that sell far more copies — and a properly licenced, up-to-date DTM field is the kind of content that gives people a reason to reinstall it.

The caveat is the usual one. An August release window in sim racing is a starting point for a conversation, not a promise, and RaceRoom’s update cadence has been uneven enough over the years that it’s worth waiting for the download button before planning a league season around it. If it lands on time and the cars drive as well as RaceRoom’s existing GT3 field, though, it’s a straightforward win for a sim that could use one.
