RaceRoom Racing Experience has a date for its next batch of releases: 4 August. The drop bundles a reworked HUD, the Nordschleife, and a DTM content pack, with the DTM package priced at €29.99.

That’s the whole of what’s been confirmed so far, and it’s worth being upfront about that. There’s no detailed breakdown yet of which DTM season or car list the pack covers, no separate pricing note for the Nordschleife, and no changelog for the HUD overhaul beyond the fact that it’s arriving alongside the rest. Anyone hoping for a spec sheet before deciding will need to wait until closer to the day itself.

Why it’s worth paying attention: the HUD is the part that quietly affects everyone. RaceRoom’s existing overlay has long been one of the sim’s weaker points compared with what rivals ship by default, and a genuine rebuild — rather than another options-menu tweak — would improve the experience for every player, not just those buying the new content. Whether it delivers is the open question, but it’s the change with the broadest reach.

The Nordschleife matters for a different reason. It’s the track that gets a sim taken seriously, and RaceRoom’s version arriving properly puts the platform back into a conversation it’s been absent from. Combined with DTM machinery, it points at the kind of racing the sim has historically done well: touring and GT cars on European circuits, with a physics model that still holds up.

At €29.99 for the DTM pack, the pricing sits in familiar territory for RaceRoom’s à la carte model — which remains either its best feature or its most frustrating one, depending on how much of the store you already own. Worth a look on the 4th once the details land.
