Sabelt and PXN set to appear at SimRacing Expo Frankfurt

Sabelt and PXN are the latest sim racing big-hitters to announce their attendance at October's SImRacing Expo Frankfurt event. The post Sabelt and PXN

Sabelt and PXN have both signed on for SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt this October, adding two more familiar names to the exhibitor list for the show.

The pairing is an odd one on paper, and that’s kind of the point. Sabelt is a motorsport safety and seating brand with a long real-world racing pedigree — the sort of company sim rig builders borrow from when they want a seat that isn’t just a bucket-shaped piece of plastic. PXN, meanwhile, sits at the other end of the market entirely, building budget wheels and pedals aimed at people getting into sim racing without spending four figures on a base. Seeing both on the same floor plan is a decent snapshot of how wide sim racing hardware has become.

Traxion reports the two as the latest additions to the event’s lineup, so expect further names to trickle out between now and October. Beyond the fact of their attendance, there’s nothing announced yet about what either company plans to show — no product reveals, no stand details, nothing concrete.

Why it matters: SimRacing Expo has become the one European event where you can actually put your hands on hardware before committing money to it, and that’s genuinely useful when a wheelbase costs as much as a used car. If you’re weighing a seat upgrade or a first-wheel purchase, a show floor beats a hundred YouTube reviews. That said, an attendance announcement is just an attendance announcement — it’s not a product launch, and it doesn’t tell you anything about what will be sitting on those stands. Worth noting, worth watching, not worth booking flights over yet.
