SnowRunner is getting two more licensed Mercedes-Benz trucks. Publisher Focus and developer Saber are releasing the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Dual Pack 2 DLC on 2 September, adding the LG1519 6x6 — nicknamed the “Mamute” — and the NG3850 to the off-road hauler’s garage.
Details beyond the reveal are thin at this stage. The headline act is clearly the LG1519, a six-wheel-drive machine whose Portuguese nickname translates to “Mammoth,” which should give you some idea of the vibe. The NG3850 rounds out the pack, and as the “Dual Pack 2” name suggests, this is the second time SnowRunner has bundled a pair of official Mercedes trucks together. Pricing and platform specifics weren’t spelled out in the announcement, though SnowRunner DLC has historically landed across all supported platforms.
Why should a sim racing audience care about a mud-crawling truck game? Because SnowRunner remains one of the best vehicle-physics experiences you can buy that isn’t about lap times. Its deliberate, weight-driven handling model rewards the same throttle discipline and patience that make someone quick in a rally or endurance sim, and plenty of wheel users keep it installed as a palate cleanser between race weekends. It’s also worth noting that SnowRunner is still pulling real manufacturer licences more than five years after launch — a sign the game’s long-tail support isn’t slowing down, even with its successor RoadCraft out in the wild. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to re-hitch the trailer, a pair of official three-pointed-star haulers arriving in early September is a decent one. We’d just suggest waiting on the full spec sheets before deciding whether the Mamute lives up to the name.
